Tongue Dancer Wines Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2017
We are huge fans of the previous vintage of Tongue Dancer’s Sonoma Coast Pinot but somehow this 2017 edition is even better. When tasting this wine I couldn’t help but be drawn into an internal conversation of single vineyard versus a marriage of fruit from two or more vineyards… See the Beverage of the Week feature

Spirits Reviews
Lunazul Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose wonderfully fruity offering scents of ripe tropical fruits (pineapple), red apple notes, and citrus zest with accents of sea salt and sweet agave. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a semi-viscous yet vibrant tropical fruit-driven core with generous supporting notes of citrus, black pepper, and hints of wild herbs and vanilla bean. Ideally balanced with clean, fresh flavors and a long, lingering, spicy finish. $19.99 – 4.5 Stars
Lunazul Reposado, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, pale golden straw color. The nose is filled with the scents of bright, baked tropical fruits with flanking notes of cinnamon, citrus zest, and sweet oak. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush, baked pineapple driven core with generous notes of honey, caramel, and vanilla cream. Wonderfully balanced with bright acidity adding freshness with lingering pepper and spice accents. $19.99 – 4 Stars
Lunazul Añejo, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, copper color. The nose is dominated by sweet, brown baking spices (cinnamon and nutmeg), toasted oak, and roasted nuts with baked fruits in support. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a decadent spice and oak-driven core with waves of caramel, cashew butter, and vibrant black pepper notes rising on the finish. Medium to full-bodied with rich, toasted oak and spice keeping it sprite. Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels for 12 to 18 months. $22.99 – 4 Stars
Lunazul Primero Añejo, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The eyes deceive the nose as you expect a burst of fruit at first nosing but get a complex oak-driven nose with waves of honey, caramel, ripe red apples, and subtle brown spices. The palate is more explosive than the nose delivering a rich and silky oak and baked agave dominant core with anise, allspice, tarragon, and vanilla bean in support. Ideally balanced with a generous dose of citrus on the finish that keeps it vibrant and crisp. Lunazul Primero is aged for 18 months in American oak and then filtered to strip all color. $29.99 – 4 Stars
Lunazul El Humoso Smoked Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The aromatics are dominated by spicy smoke with accents of fire-roasted chili and hints of cooked tropical fruits. The palate echoes the nose delivering a smoky wood and sweet chili-dominated core with hints of spice and grilled lime. Medium-bodied with persistent smoke that dominates the sweet fruit and bright citrus that struggle to emerge. $29.99 – 3.5 Stars

Fuso 21 Le Salse Verdicchio di Matelica 2018
Brilliant, light green/gold color. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of spring flowers and nectarine with supporting notes of white peach and wet stones. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of green apple, pear, and orange peel. The finish is long and lingering. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. $14 4 Stars/90 points
