Hardhide Chilton County Peach Flavored Whiskey is a follow-up to its sibling Hardhide Strawberry, released in 2023. We are fans of the Hardhide Strawberry, and the Hardhide Peach is even better! Keeping true to the brand’s style, Hardhide Peach delivers bold Whiskey aromatics and flavors that marry ideally with the juicy, ripe peach accents. This superb Flavored Whiskey is produced at the Sugarfield Distillery in Gonzales, Louisiana by proprietor/distiller Thomas Soltau. The peaches are sourced from the famous Chilton County’s Durbin Family Farms in Clanton, Alabama. It's bottled at 86 proof to let the Whiskey flourish. Hardhide takes its name from Hardhide the Gator, who is the mascot of the town of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She's the descendant of the original Hardhide who reigned over downtown Ponchatoula since 1975.

Brand Story

Sidewalk Side Spirits is a spirits brand incubator company founded in 2020 by spirits industry veteran John Eason and the owners of Cocktail & Son’s, Lauren Myerscough and Max Messier. Their first brand was a collaboration with the undisputed King of King Cakes, Gambino’s Bakery to create Gambino’s King Cake Rum Cream. This award-winning product was born out of their love of Carnival and all it means to the hundreds of thousands of revelers who celebrate it across the country and the world every year. This was followed up with Hardhide Ponchatoula Strawberry Flavored Whiskey in 2023 and Hardhide Chilton County Peach Flavored Whiskey — a flavored Whiskies that has not forgotten the Whiskey. Tasting Note

Brilliant, light, golden, peach color. The nose is filled with scents of dry peach and stone fruit pits with a mineral accent followed by a bold American Whiskey nose. The palate is in full agreement with the nose, delivering a Whiskey and peach-focused core with stone fruits, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and accents of brown baking spices. Full-bodied and wonderfully balanced with a near-impossible marriage of fruit and Whiskey. Bottled at 86-proof, so it's not shy. $29.99

How to Serve

Drink over ice or in cocktails. We love the Hardhide Peach in a tall glass with ginger ale or ginger beer finished with a lime wedge. It's a dangerously easy drink to finish.
