Product Story

Relax, you have found your value Pinot Noir. Nia Pinot Noir has the versatility to work as a cocktail hour wine, as well as pair with a range of dishes at the table. Brand Story

Nia translates as intention or will in a number of languages. The intent of the creators of Nia was to create the best value Pinot Noir. The wine is crafted by Ed Killian, a veteran California winemaker with over 30 years of experience. Killian has been the lead winemaker at Chateau Souverain since 1995. Nia's creator, Phil Laramore, had a line on some great Pinot Noir in Mendocino County just north of Ukiah. The lovely fruit along with Killian's touch conspire to create a Pinot Noir that would turn heads at twice the price. The Nia label is set to soon release a Chardonnay and a Cabernet later this year. The goal is for the entire line to be bottled with the California appellation and the price tag to sit at the a comfortable $10. Buy these wines by the case.

The palate echoes the nose delivering a fruit-centric core that features both ripe, sweet cheery along with tart cherries, cassis, and raspberry framed by earth and spice. Medium-bodied and ideally balanced with a vibrant fruit core that is flanked by earth and spice notes.
