Puncher's Chance Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made with a blend of four, five, and six-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbons by the Wolf Spirit Distillery. Wolf Spirit Distillery was founded in 2017 by a 17-year veteran of Campari, Umberto Luchini. Puncher's Chance creators describe their creation as such. "A puncher’s chance means that anyone has the potential to succeed, whatever the odds, if he or she works for it. Being the underdog is often the greatest strength. Puncher’s Chance is the bourbon for everyone who believes and lives that credo.” Puncher's Chance is bottled at 45% while never feeling hot with alcohol being extremely lush.

Wolf Spirit Distillery was founded in 2017 by a 17-year veteran of Campari, Umberto Luchini, who – in his late 40s, with his own savings at stake – walked away from his CMO position, hell-bent on upending the system to follow his dream, as well as his personal mission to live courageously, honestly, and with great purpose. Wolf Spirit Distillery is Eugene, Oregon's first grain to bottle distillery using local ingredients as personified in their Blood x Sweat x Tears Vodka. Wolf Spirit also imports a Vodka called Tom of Finland Organic Vodka. With their latest creation, Puncher's Chance Bourbon they source quality Kentucky Bourbon and blend it in Oregon.
Tasting Note
Brilliant, deep bronze color. The nose is filled with bold scents of caramel, sweet baked apples, red chili-accented toffee, charred oak, and brown baking spices. The palate echoes the nose delivering a sweet, baked fruit-centered core with generous supporting notes of vanilla cream, chocolate, orange peel, and hints of saddle leather. Full-bodied with bold fruit, caramel, and oak flavors that maintain a vibrancy due to bright acidity and ideal balance.
