Wine Reviews

Eden Dale Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2019
Brilliant, medium ruby color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of red cherry and raspberry with supporting notes of forest floor, hibiscus flower, rose petals, and slate. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of boysenberry, pomegranate, violet, and hints of smoked bacon. The finish is long and lingering with soft tannins with subtle pepper notes. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a silky texture. Ideally proportioned and thanks to the bottle age it’s at optimum drinking now. $50 – 4 Stars/92 points

Eden Dale Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2019
Brilliant, pale gold color. The nose is moderately intense, offering scents of spring flowers, citrus zest, and bread dough with supporting notes of wet stones and bees wax. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of pear, lemon curd, and blanched almonds. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a supple texture. $45 – 3.5 Stars/89 points

Spirits Reviews

Stone Castle Raki
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is alluring offering a beautiful perfume of wild flowers with ripe stone fruits supported by mineral, earthy spices, and a pleasing salinity. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a lush fruit-forward core with generous citrus accents and sweet tarragon notes rising on the finish. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with vibrant acidity perfectly framing the ultra-ripe fruit core. $19.99 – 4 Stars
