Wine Reviews

Vignobles Foncalieu Reserve de l’Abbe Cotes-du-Rhone, Rosé 2021
Brilliant, medium salmon color. The nose is moderately intense, offering scents of red cherry and boysenberry with supporting notes of strawberry, orange peel, and cranberry. The palate confirms the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of crushed berries, red plum, ripe watermelon, and wet stones. The finish is crisp and refreshing. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. Made with a blend of Syrah and Grenache. $14.99 – 4 Stars/90 points

Spirits Reviews

Hidden Barn Batch 1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Brilliant, deep bronze color. The nose is rich and generous with waves of toasted grains, almond butter, butterscotch, sweet, dried fruits, and charred oak touched by vanilla. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush and robust roasted nut and caramel core with waves of brown baked spices, candied ginger, mint, and a generous dose of black pepper on the finish. Full-bodied and intense with a sharp spice signature rising on the finish. $74.99 – 4 Stars
