Tongue Dancer Wines Rosé of Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2018
The fifth commercial release of the tasty Tongue Dancer Wines Rosé of Pinot Noir is delicious as always but sadly in short supply.
This year’s Rosé is a bit of a different animal being made entirely from the Putnam Vineyard that is well-known to BevX readers as the source for their “Pinot de Ville.” It’s darker in color and richer on the palate than in years past while maintaining perfect balance… See the Beverage of the Week feature

Empress 1908 Gin
Brilliant and beautiful, deep indigo color. The aromatics jump from the glass being very floral with bright notes of juniper and grapefruit, with an underlying earthy edge. The palate echoes the nose delivering a very sprite and vibrant botanical core that delivers floral essences with a bit of ginger heat to frame the package. Medium to full-bodied with ideal balance thanks to a bright note of acidity that keeps the complex mélange of botanicals at attention. Made from eight botanicals in Victoria, Canada. $39.99 – 4.5 Stars

Chateau de Nages Buti Nages Costieres De Nimes 2018
Brilliant, medium ruby color. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of white peach and raspberry with supporting notes of apricot, watermelon, and strawberry. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of freshly crushed red berries, citrus, and mineral. The finish is long and lingering. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant texture. $13 4 Stars/90 points
