Beverage of the Week
Murphy’s Stout (Ireland)
Move over Guinness! There is more than one Irish Stout to enjoy this St. Patrick’s Day (and every day beyond). Murphy’s is less bitter and creamy with a dry finish that makes it a session beer candidate – 4% abv. See the Beverage of the Week feature
Paddy Blended Irish Whiskey
Bright, light golden color. The nose is fresh with scents of toasted grain, vanilla, and hints of dried fruits. The palate continues where the nose leaves off offering a great marriage of grain and fruit with accents of toasted almonds, dry wood notes, and black pepper. Available in the US on a limited basis, this latest offering of the old Paddy Whiskey is better than ever. $19.99 – 3.5 Stars
Bogle phantom Chardonnay Clarksburg 2017
Brilliant, medium golden color. The aromatics are very intense offering scents of tropical fruit, wild flowers, and honeysuckle with supporting notes of passion fruit and vanilla. The palate confirms the nose delivering a tropical fruits-driven core with flavors of lemon curd, butterscotch, honey, and toasted oak. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a silky, opulent texture. $18 4 Stars/91 points
Bogle Chardonnay California 2017
