Beverage of the Week

Tongue Dancer Wines Chardonnay Sonoma County 2021Tongue Dancer Wines Chardonnay Sonoma County 2021
The Tongue Dancer Wines 2021 Sonoma County Chardonnay appears to be a one-off but I’ve been wrong before. It’s a triple threat Chardonnay sourcing its fruit from the Bacigalupi and Pratt vineyards in Russian River Valley, and a new source in Dry Creek Valley (Montrachet clone). It’s a bold blend of two previously utilized sources with a great new source…See the Beverage of the Week feature

Wine Reviews

Morisfarms Mandriolo Maremma Toscana 2020
Brilliant, medium ruby color. The nose is moderately intense offering scents of raspberry and wild strawberry with supporting notes of mineral and dried herbs. The palate confirms the nose delivering a red fruit-driven core with flavors of ripe red cherry, plum, and hints of black currants. The finish is long and lingering with supple tannins. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a silky texture. Made with a blend of 80% Sangiovese with the remainder comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petit Verdot. $13.99 – 4 Stars/90 points

Spirits Reviews

Luxardo Espresso Liqueur
Brilliant, dark mahogany color. The nose is filled with scents of dark roasted espresso beans with supporting notes of dark chocolate with hints of vanilla bean and brown sugar. The palate is in full agreement with the nose while being a bit sweeter as the sugar adds depth to the espresso elongating the palate with notes of vanilla bean and cocoa nibs. Full-bodied and generous with espresso and supporting flavors — ideal for cocktails. $24.99 – 4 Stars
