Troon Vineyard Kubli Bench Amber Applegate Valley 2022Troon Vineyard Kubli Bench Amber Applegate Valley 2022
The 2022 Troon Amber is the fourth edition of this wine that we have seen and it’s our favorite. This vintage, for the first time, Troon Amber is Vermentino forward and it really showcases the tremendous Vermentino grown at Troon Vineyard. Wine Reviews

Gary Farrell Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2021
Brilliant, medium gold/green color. The aromatics are intense, offering scents of white peach, tropical fruits, and green apple with supporting notes of brioche, citrus zest, slate, and sea salt. The palate echoes the nose delivering a ripe orchard fruits-driven core with flavors of green melon, lemon curd, blanched almonds, kumquat, and oak. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a vibrant yet generous texture. $40 – 4 Stars/92 points

The palate confirms the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of raspberry, black cherry, strawberry, with hints of tapenade, and forest floor. The finish is long and lingering with chewy tannins. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced with a opulent texture. Made with 50 % Syrah supported by Grenache, Cinsault, and Carignan. $22 – 4.5 Stars/94 points

Spirits Reviews

Cierto Private Collection Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is very aromatic with scents of fresh cut herbs, spring flowers, baked agave and aloe with hints of citrus and earth. The palate echoes the nose while delivering more sweet agave than the nose reveals with supporting notes of mineral, black pepper, citrus, and sea salt. Medium-bodied with bright acidity that gives lift and elongates the baked agave core accented by generous spice notes. $89 – 4.5 Stars
