Beverage of the Week

Ayinger Jahrhundert-Bier (Germany)Ayinger Jahrhundert-Bier (Germany)
The great Beers from Ayinger have been available in the US for more than two decades. Our BOW, the great Jahrhundert-Bier was first created in 1978 to celebrate the brewery’s 100th anniversary. We love everything about this classic German lager.

Spirits Reviews

Gran Duque D’Alba XO Brandy de Jerez
Brilliant, beautiful mahogany color with hints of amber. The aromatics are quite complex with waves of roasted nuts, vanilla bean, nougat, raisins, and dates. The palate echoes the nose delivering a generous, unctuous caramel and toffee, with dried fruits, clove, allspice, and oak. Full-bodied with complex layers of fruit, caramel, spice, presented with a silky texture. $115 – 4 Stars

Brilliant, deep ruby color. The aromatics are pleasingly intense, offering scents of red cherry and wild berries with supporting notes of slate, dried herbs, black tea, and forest floor. The palate echoes the nose delivering a red and black fruits-driven core with flavors of raspberry, black fruits, earth, and truffle. The finish is long and lingering with supple tannins. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced with an opulent texture. $40 – 5 Stars/98 points
