Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is wonderfully rich and complex offering sweet agave notes with loads of citrus ranging from lime and lemon juice to zest with hints of salt and sweet herbs. The palate echoes the nose offering a generous agave fruit core with vibrant citrus accents and hints of mineral and a soft salinity. Full bodied and rich without being cloying in the slightest offering a bright dose of balancing acidity. $29.99 – 5 Stars
Suerte Extra Añejo, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is really quite beautiful as so many extra añejo are simply redolent of Bourbon. Suerte Extra Añejo offers scents of baked apple, honey, vanilla bean, and ripe red berries with notes of charred oak. The palate continues in the same vein as the aromatics with the oak component taking center stage and muting the fruit a bit. It's a bold, heavily wood-influenced style that still manages to feature the fresh, balancing acidity found in their blanco. $110 – 4 Stars

The nose is amazingly complex offering rustic notes of baked agave with loads of salty aromatics ranging from green olives to pickles and capers with hints of earth and pineapple skins. The palate delivers a silky entry with dry tropical fruit on the mid-palate with loads of black and white pepper, lime zest, and sea salt. The second sip is far more rich and elegant with flanking notes of spice, honey, and dried herbs. This blanco is wonderfully intense while vibrant and refreshing as well. It walks the line between delicate and rustic in the best possible way. $45 – 5 Stars
Tarantula Plata, 100% Agave Tequila
Crystal clear. The nose is vibrantly fruity and floral with fresh cut herbs & grass, lime zest, and fermented tropical fruits. The palate echoes the nose being lush and silky with ripe tropical fruit, sweet grass and pithy, tart citrus fruits with hints of salt and pepper heat. A bit too assertive for sipping but this bold Tequila is made for cocktails. $17.99 – 3 Stars
Casamigos Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is fantastically rich and complex with scents of ripe agave, as well as tropical and orchard fruits with accents of honey, candied ginger, and citrus with hints of black pepper and vanilla bean. The palate echoes the nose delivering a lush, velvet-like mouthfeel with a concerto of ripe fruit at its core flanked perfectly by notes of sea salt, spice, and citrus. Ideally balanced and perfect for sipping or making one hell of a luxurious margarita. $42.99 – 5 Stars

Brilliant pale straw color. The aromatics are rich with ripe with scents of sweet baked agave, baked apple, pineapple, and pear with accents of cinnamon, allspice, clove, and candied ginger. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering a viscous but vibrant core of baked fruit with supporting notes of caramel, brown baking spices, black pepper, and lime zest. Nicely balanced with a deft addition of wood spice allowing the pure agave spirit to shine. $49.99 – 4 Stars
Avion Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila
Brilliant, crystal clear. The nose is amazingly complex and generous with waves of wild flowers with loads of ripe agave, tropical fruits, baked pear, honeysuckle, citrus zest, and black pepper. The palate is equal to the nose being lush while vibrant with layers of citrus, earth, sea salt, coriander seed, soft green notes, and a refreshing dose of acidity that begs for the next sip. This is a wonderfully proportioned Tequila with great length and balance. It sips well but in a fresh cocktail this Blanco would be most at home. $40 – 5 Stars
Avion Añejo, 100% Agave Tequila
Pale golden color with brilliant clarity and some serious legs in the glass. The nose reveals a well-knit Anejo showing equal deference to the rich agave spirit and the sexy wood cask notes. The palate opens with a silky wave of baked orchard fruits with supporting accents of citrus, brown baking spices, and wood. Soft and faint caramel notes add weight while the signature acidity still shines through. Ideally balanced with superb length and the proper intrigue to keep one sipping for hours. Brilliant with a medium bodied cigar. $50 – 4 Stars

Brilliant pale straw color showing just faint barrel influences. However, the aromatics are full of barrel notes as cinnamon, allspice, clove, and pepper mingle with the generous baked tropical and orchard fruits. The palate echoes the nose delivering a rich but vibrant mélange of baked fruits with waves of spice and citrus. The bright and uplifting dose of acidity found in the Avion Blanco is present here as well, perfectly supporting the semisweet brown spices. A repo worthy of sipping as the pure agave spirit plays the starring role. $45 – 5 Stars
